Staff Story: Ralph Diaz

In our second staff story, Ralph Diaz was kind enough to share a few minutes with me and tell me a bit about himself. Thanks Ralph!

How long have you been at Tom Benson Chevrolet? What do you do?

I have been at Tom Benson Chevrolet for 18 years. I am a Service Consultant. I do customer service, customer needs, consulting customers on repairs needed as well as maintenance needed.

What did you do before coming to Tom Benson Chevrolet?

I was a Service Consultant for Sears Automotive for 16 years. And before that, basically the same job, customer service, customer maintenance, and advising on repairs.

What is one of your favorite memories from your time working here?

Memories? Probably when I got hired here.

Tom Benson Chevrolet has been very good to me. Thank God. I have so many memories, but I think I’ve always been treated fairly.

What do you like the most about working here?

Just the rewards of doing a good job and customers acknowledging you for a job well done.

If you could have any Chevrolet vehicle from all of time, what would you chooseI’m a truck guy, so a Texas Edition Chevy pickup. I will take that in white if it’s available.

Any other words?

Basically I’m glad to be here. I’ve been treated very fair at Tom Benson Chevrolet and am hoping I can stay here. My goal is to stay here another ten years, until I’m 62. That’s what I’m looking forward to.
